Malfunctions
Remedy
● Check the measurement instru-
ment.
● Check the final pressure without
system connected.
● Clean the vacuum pump.
● Check the components for con-
tamination.
● Operate the vacuum pump with
the gas ballast valve open over a
longer period.
● Change the operating fluid.
● Top up the operating fluid.
● Locate and eliminate the leak.
● Contact Pfeiffer Vacuum
● Make sure that connections are
short and cross sections ade-
quately dimensioned.
● Check exhaust line outlet open-
ings and exhaust side accesso-
ries.
● Check for leaks.
● Replace the seal as required.
● Contact Pfeiffer Vacuum
● Check the oil return.
● Clean and maintain the vacuum
pump.
● Contact Pfeiffer Vacuum
● Change the motor.
