Maintenance work
5.2.1
Checking serviceability
1. Check the helmet shell, internal helmet components, visor and accessories
for cracks, deformations or other damage, as well as wear. Check also that
the helmet fits correctly.
2. Replace scratched or damaged parts.
WARNING
The protective effect is reduced after impact!
If the helmet absorbs the energy of an impact, it may be damaged or destroyed.
► Even if the damage is not visible at first, the helmet must be replaced after a
heavy bump or impact.
► Damaged or impact-stressed helmets must no longer be used. This also
applies if no external damage is visible.
WARNING
Reduced visibility or limited protective effect by scratched or damaged visors!
► Replace scratched or damaged visors.
5.2.2
Replacing the face cuff
1. Release the hook-and-loop fasteners on the face cuff from the support ring.
2. Remove the visor from the adapters and pull the face cuff from the visor.

the outside. Fully attach the Velcro strap to the visor.
4. Insert the visor bracket through the loops in the face cuff and place the loops
around the joints on the visor bracket.
5. Insert the visor bracket as far into the adapters on the helmet as possible.
6. Place the Velcro tabs on the rubber strap around the support ring (from
inside to outside) and fasten them so that the face cuff lies tightly against the
user's face.
