Old electronic devices are hazardous waste and should
not be disposed of in household waste. When the devi-
ce has become unusable, dispose of it in accordance
with the current statutory regulations at the communal
collection

Disposal of flat batteries

You, as the end user, are legally obliged (Ordinance on the Return
and Disposal of Used Batteries) to return all used batteries. Dis-
posal in the household waste is prohibited!
Batteries containing hazardous substances are labelled
with the symbols shown to the left. These symbols also
indicate that disposal of these batteries in the house-
hold waste is prohibited. The designations for the criti-
cal heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg =
mercury, Pb = lead. You can hand in your used batte-
ries at no cost at official collection points in your com-
munity, at our stores or anywhere batteries are sold.
You will thus carry out your legal obligations and contribute to
the protection of our environment.
