b) Turn on the ignition by pressing the ignition switch.
c) Press the fuel pump 8-10 times until fuel appears in the
transparent fuel cable.
d) Grasp the starter handle and pull it lightly and evenly until
resistance is felt, then use steady and rapid motions until the
engine starts. After starting, keep holding the starter handle and
allow it to return to the starting position in a controlled manner.
Sometimes, especially when the engine is cold or the ambient
temperature is very low, it may be necessary to pull the starter
lever several times - this is normal.
e) [Only when the engine is cold] After starting the engine, let it run
for approx. 10 minutes to gain operating temperature - set the
choke lever to the off (down) position.
