Selecting the audio track
You can use »AUDIO« to select the audio track for playing back cassettes con-

Switching the display of the video recorder
You can press »OK« to switch the video-recorder display during playback:

Improving the picture of a freeze-frame
If the picture jitters or appears uneven during the freeze-frame function, it can be
optimized.

Correcting picture interference (track adjustment)

During playback, use the » C C « or » D D « button to adjust the picture to suit
your personal taste.
– This setting is maintained until the cassette is removed.
Automatic picture improvement (ACC Plus)
Cassettes recorded on another video recorder may have a poor picture and/or
sound quality. This is not a fault of your recorder!

Press the »E « button on the video recorder during playback. The automatic

picture improvement function (ACC Plus) optimizes the picture.
Eliminating tracking lines in freeze-frame
and slow-motion modes

During playback, press » « to switch to freeze-frame/pause.

If tracking lines appear in the still image, press »
and then » « or » « to adjust the image according to your wishes.

– Your setting is retained until you remove the cassette.
Playing back NTSC colour recordings
When playing back NTSC recordings, the recorder switches automatically to this
system.
Note:
During NTSC playback, no freeze-frame function is possible.
