LED Key Ring Light
with 5-in-1 Tool

Intended Use
The product is provided with an integrated white LED, which is intended to serve as a mini pocket
light. It is also provided with additional tools (e.g. screwdriver, bottle opener) and a small pocket
knife. Using a key ring the product, for example, can be hung from a bunch of keys.
Any other use than that described above, could lead to damage to this product and involves the
risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
This product complies with the applicable National and European specifications. All names of

Safety Instructions
Please read all of the operating instructions before using the product for the
first time; they contain important information about the correct operation. The
warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe these
safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any consequential
damage!
We do not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by
improper handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions! The
warranty will be void in such cases.
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modification to the pro-
duct is not permitted.
• The product must not be used for tasks which require professional equipment. The
5-in-1 tools are only intended for simple tasks.
• The product must not get damp or wet. Never clean it under running water. The
internal batteries and the battery-LED contacts will be corroded by exposure to
damp and water.
• Do not allow children to play with the device.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous
playthings for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental
drops, even from a low height.
General Battery Instructions
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave the batteries lying around in the open; there is a risk of them being swallowed by chil-
dren or domestic animals. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries can lead to caustic burning of the skin. Therefore, use suitable
protective gloves.
• Batteries/rechargeable batteries must not be short-circuited, opened or thrown into a fire.
There is a risk of explosion!
• Conventional batteries must not be recharged. Risk of explosion!
• Observe the correct polarity when inserting the battery (positive /+ and negative/-).
• Always replace both batteries, do not use batteries that have been used for different lengths of
time. Always use identical batteries (same type, same manufacturer).
Battery Replacement
• First remove the 3 housing screws, using a suitable screwdriver. One of the screws may be a
bit longer, this is the one on the side with the key ring.
• After this, insert a coin between the plastic halves and carefully lever off the upper cover (with the
screw holes), see picture above. If the cover sticks, do not use force, otherwise the housing will
be damaged.
• Then, both batteries can be replaced by new ones; two button cells type CR927 are needed.

• Place the both housing halves together again and screw together the housing (if one of the
screws is somewhat longer, place it in the side with the key ring and screw it together).

As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechar-
geable batteries; disposal of them in the household waste is prohibited!
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.

In both battery holders there is a small transparent plastic disc, see picture below.
If they fall out while replacing the used batteries, replace them in the right position!
Otherwise, the LED will not work or the battery contacts will be short-circuited, which
can lead to overheating of the batteries or explosion!

Observe the correct polarity shown in the picture when inserting the new batteries!
Please dispose the product, when it is no longer in use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
Contaminated batteries/rechargeable batteries are labelled with these symbols to
indicate that disposal in domestic waste is forbidden. The symbols for dangerous
heavy metal constituents are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (the marking can
be seen on the battery/rechargeable battery e.g. below the refuse bin symbol shown
on the left).
You can return used (rechargeable) batteries free of charge at the official collection
points in your municipality, our stores, or where ever (rechargeable) batteries are
sold!
