Intended Use
The scales are intended for weighing objects and food for private use. The scale
is not intended for long-term commercial use.
Before using for the first time
Unpack the scale and dispose of the packaging material. Plastic bags etc. can be
dangerous toys for small children. Remove the protective film from the
weighing surface and clean the weighing surface with a slightly damp cloth.
Inserting the Batteries
Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale and insert two
LR03 (AAA) batteries. Pay attention to the correct polarity. Polarity symbols are
located in the battery compartment.
When "Lo" appears on the display, the batteries should be replaced.

Operation

Place the scale on a firm, level, and horizontal surface. Use the "ON / OFF" key
to put the balance into operation or switch it off after use. Use the "UNIT"
button to select the unit of measurement. By repeatedly pressing the "UNIT"
button you can choose between g, kg, lb / oz, fl'oz and ml.
You can reset the display to zero with the "TARE" key. Please note that the
scales must not be overloaded. This function is used, for example, to remove a
vessel.
After switching on, wait until the display shows zero. If the display does not
return to zero, use the "TARE" key to reset the display. To weigh liquids or
other non-dimensionally stable masses, place a container on the scale and then
reset the display.
If "Err" appears in the display, the balance is overloaded.
After 3 minutes of non-use, the scale switches itself off.
Cleaning and Storage
 Clean the kitchen scales with a slightly damp cloth. If necessary, use a little
glass cleaner or washing-up liquid and dry the surface well. Do not use harsh
chemicals or abrasives for cleaning.
 Make sure that no liquids can enter the device.
 Store the kitchen scales indoors in a dry place protected from dust, heat and
moisture.
 Do not stack items or place items on the scale for a long time.
 If the device is not used for a longer period of time (several months), remove
the battery so that it does not leak and damage the device.
