Notes on the programs and functions
The appliance has the following programs: Rice, Baby Food, Left heating, Bean/
Tinned, Cake, Steam, Soup/Porridge, Pressure keeping and Preset setting. After
you select a function, the display will flash 8 times and then the unit will start
automatically.
• The PRESET SETTING function allows you to set a delayed start time. Each time
you press the key, the time is shown on the display and the corresponding
indicator light flashes. At the beginning, the time is increased in 0.5 hour
increments. After 10 hours, the time is increased in 1-hour steps. The
maximum start delay that can be set is 24 hours.
• The LEFTOVER HEATING function is used to reheat cold residues.
• WARM/CANCEL function: Once a program is finished, the food is automatically
kept warm for up to 24 hours. Press the CANCEL button to end the keep warm
function.
• The RICE program is an automated program that can cook regular or
parboiled rice. The cooking time is automatically determined based on the
amount entered. Cooking 2 cups of rice takes about 10 minutes, 3-6 cups of
rice takes about 12 minutes, more rice takes longer accordingly. The cooking
time is not shown on the display. However, once the working pressure is
reached, the time for which the pressure is held is displayed. Note: If you cook
more than 2 cups of rice, adjust the amount of water accordingly.
• The SOUP/PORRIDGE program is suitable for making soups and porridge.
Use the [+] and [-] keys to set the cooking time. For porridge, select 18
minutes. When the program is finished, do not turn on the steam outlet valve,
otherwise the porridge will splash out.
• MEAT/CHICKEN program: use the [+] and [-] buttons to set a time for the
meat to have the desired texture. For meat that comes off the bone easily, we
recommend a cooking time of 98 minutes.
• The BEANS/CANNED function is designed to heat canned foods. If you want
beans to be well cooked, use the [+] button and select 30 minutes.
• The BABY FOOD function is specially designed for heating baby food. Use the
[+] or [-] button to set the desired time.
• With the STEAM function, you can steam fish, vegetables or ribs on the
included grid and steamer. When steaming fish or vegetables, note that
the automatic pressure reduction may result in excessive cooking times.
Therefore, release the pressure manually.
