For a 3.5" SATA hard disk only: Conne ct the adapte r to an
appropriate powe r adapte r (not include d, see te chnical
spe cifications).

Inse rt the USB cable to a USB port on your com pute r.
4. Safely remove the device from yo ur c omputer
To safe ly rem ove the de vice:
1. C lick the icon Safe ly Rem ove Hardware
in the notification area at the right of the
taskbar and click the de vice that you want
to remove.

W indows will display a notification te lling you it's safe to remove
the de vice .
3.
Unplug the de vice from the USB port.
