To avoid the risk of accidents and damage to this communication
module please read these instructions carefully before using it for
the first time.
Keep these instructions in a safe place where they are accessible
to users at all times.
 Please also read the Operating instructions for your washer-dis‐
infector and pay particular attention to the Warning and Safety in‐
structions.

This communication module must only be used for applications
specified in the Operating instructions. Modifications to it and incor‐
rect use of it are not permitted as this can be dangerous.
Miele cannot be held liable for damage resulting from incorrect use or
handling.

The communication module must only be installed, commissioned
and serviced by Miele service or by a suitably qualified person. Re‐
pairs are only to be undertaken by Miele Service. Repair work by un‐
qualified persons could be dangerous.

Check the communication module carefully before installation for
any visible damage. A damaged module could be dangerous and
must not be installed.

Before installing the communication module compare the connec‐
tion data (voltage and frequency) on the data plate with that on the
data plate of your washer-disinfector. If the data does not match, the
module could sustain damage. If in any doubt, consult an electrician.

The communication module housing must not be opened on any
account.
Touching live electrical components or altering the electrical or me‐
chanical structure is dangerous and and could cause the module to
malfunction.
Miele cannot be held liable for damage caused by non-compliance
with these Warning and Safety Instructions.
