P3 Dual Sonic Animal Repeller

Intended use
The P3 Dual Sonic Animal Repeller is effective against ants, mice, rats, cockroaches, flies, crickets, silver-
fish, moths, etc. The device operates at a frequency of 30 to 65 kHz.
Power is supplied via the plug-in power unit included in the delivery. The device is approved for use only in
dry indoor locations.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves the risk of short
circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. The safety instructions have to be followed without fail!
Explanation of the symbols
The lightning symbol inside a triangle is used to warn of a health hazard such as electric
shock.
This symbol, an exclamation mark in a triangle, indicates particular dangers associated
with handling, function or operation.
The "hand" symbol indicates special information and advice on operating the device.
Safety instructions
The warranty will be invalidated if damage results from the failure to follow these operat-
ing instructions! We do not assume any liability for any resulting damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by improper use
or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty will be void in such cases.
• The product must not be modified or converted, as not only will the CE approval become void
but also the warranty.
• The power adaptor is a double insulated Class II appliance. Only a proper mains socket
(100-240 V/50/60 Hz) of the public grid may be used as voltage source.
• The voltage for the Animal Repeller is supplied via the included mains adapter.
• Do not touch the power cube transformer or the cable if they show any damage. First, de-
energize the corresponding mains socket (e.g. via the respective circuit-breaker), and then
carefully unplug the power adapter from the mains socket. Never use the product if the power
cube transformer is damaged.
• All components supplied are exclusively for use in dry interior rooms.
• The device may not be exposed to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations or heavy me-
chanical stress.
• The integrated loudspeaker generates a sound level of up to 160 dB. Do not hold the loud-
speaker close to your ear. This can lead to hearing damage.
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave packaging materials unattended. Plastic film, etc. can be a dangerous plaything
for children; there is a risk of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, disconnect the device
immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:
- the device is visibly damaged
- the device no longer works
- if the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time
- if it has been subjected to considerable stress during transportation
• Always unplug the power adapter from the Animal Repeller before cleaning.
• Never pull the power adapter by its cable. Always unplug it from the mains socket by grasping
the connector housing.
• Never touch the power pack when your hands are wet or damp. There is a risk of fatal electric
shock!
• Do not replace a damaged connecting cable by yourself. In such a case, take it to a specialist
workshop.
• Make sure the power adapter's ventilation is sufficient during operation. Do not cover the
device.
• Only a qualified person or a specialised workshop may carry out any repair work.
• If you are in doubt about how to use the device correctly, concerning its safety, or if you have
any questions not covered by these operating instructions, please contact our technical sup-
port or other specialist.

Via the built-in ultrasonic generator, the device generates an imperceptible, vibrant sound, which is unpleas-
ant for ants, mice, rats, cockroaches, flies, crickets, silverfish, moths, etc., but which humans and most do-
mestic animals such as dogs, cats, birds, etc. cannot hear. The Animal Repeller makes use of altering sound

frequencies in the range of 30 kHz - 65 kHz. That way the animals are driven away out of the effective range
of the device. Please note that the effect on some animals is not immediate but will set in after a few days.
Connection and start-up
The device should be set up to be free-standing. However, the device can be mounted on the wall using the
two openings on the device's rear panel.
Place the device in the direct vicinity of the area to be protected. The device can also be placed near win-
dows and doors to prevent insects from entering the rooms. The device should stand alone, if possible. Do
not place the device behind curtains, furniture items or similar solid objects. This considerably affects the
device's range of action.
• Connect the included AC power adapter's low voltage plug to the Animal Repeller.
• Plug the power adapter into a proper mains outlet.
• The device is working. This is indicated by the red flashing status LED.
• Activate the test button on the rear side of the device. The sound generator now plays a sound in a fre-
quency range that human cannot hear. With the rotary control set the desired pulse sequence of a sound
frequency.
• Release the test button again. Playback is now in a frequency range inaudible for humans.
Maintenance
The product does not require any maintenance. You should never take it apart! The outside of the product
should be cleaned only with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solu-
tions since these might damage the housing or impair the operation.

Make sure the surface is solid and smooth, e.g. masonry, when mounting the device on a
wall.
In the case of wall-mounting, be careful not to accidentally damage any power supply
lines, gas or water pipes while drilling! Risk of fatal injury!
Verify that the Animal Repeller is mounted properly and attached securely. If the device
falls, it may harm other people.
Change the pulse sequence of the sound frequency after a few days, and if possible
change the location of the Animal Repeller, so that the animals do not get accustomed.
Electronic devices are recyclable waste materials and must not be disposed of in the household
waste!
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the current statutory
requirements.
