Before Use

Remove all packaging from the unit and the accessories. Do not leave packaging
materials lying around; plastic bags may become a deadly toy for small children.
Clean all parts as described in the chapter "Cleaning" on page 11.
The blender is equipped with an automatic safety system that switches off the
motor when the jar has not been correctly assembled.

Assembling

1. Put the sealing ring (4) on the outer edge of the 4-fould blade (5). Put the
blade with the sealing ring into the cup base (6).
2. Put the cup base (6) on the bottom of the glass jar and secure tightly by
turning the cup base clockwise.
3. Attach the assembled glass jar (3) to the motor base (7). Make sure that the
blender is switched off. The switch has to be in OFF setting.
4. To remove the glass jar simply lift it off the motor base. You do not have to
rotate the glass jar to remove it.

Use

1. Place the foodstuff you wish to process into the glass jar. Put the lid (2) on the
glass jar and close securely. If desired, remove the sealing cap (1) by turning
clockwise. To close the sealing cap, place it into the hole of the lid and close
by turning counter clockwise.
2. Connect the power plug (8) to a wall outlet and switch on the motor base by
using either the rotary switch (10) or one of the function buttons (12).

The speed setting from MIN to MAX is continuously adjustable.
Use the function buttons SMOOTHIE ICE PULSE for additional
functions.
3. Turn the rotary switch to the ON position to use the function buttons.
