Cleaning

It is recommended to clean the flexi clip
rails and wire rack after each use.
This will not allow dirt to dry, harden or
be burnt on after further use.
Cleaning will otherwise become more
difficult.
During cleaning, make sure that the
flexi clip rail lubricant is not washed
away.
Avoid frequent:
– Soaking in hot dishwater,
– Cleaning with spray oven cleaners,
– Cleaning the roller bearings.
Normal soiling
^ Clean the surfaces with a solution of
hot water, liquid dish soap and a
sponge or soft nylon brush.
^ Dry surfaces before reassembly.
Baked-on soiling
If necessary, the rough side of the dish
sponge can be used. Cleaning is easier
if you allow it to soak for a few minutes.
After cleaning, discolorations or
bright areas may remain on the flexi
clip rails. This will in no way affect
the performance.
In addition, take special care:
Spilled fruit juices (e.g. pies) may
permanently discolor surfaces. This
discoloration is permanent but will not
affect the performance. Fruit juices can
also stick to the flexi clip rails making it
very difficult to remove. When cleaning,
use only the recommended agents and
a soft brush on the roller bearings.
Re-lubricating the flexi clip rails
If necessary the flexi clip rails can be
re-lubricated to maintain smooth
operation.
You can obtain the special lubricant
from Miele.
Use only this special lubricant
because it is specifically for the high
temperatures achieved in the oven.
Other lubricants may harden and
jam the flexi clip rails when heated.
