Prepare your Router for Installation in the Milling Table:
The installation of the router must be according to the design of your router, so
only general guidelines can be given.
For the Westfalia router 87 46 87 a
prefabricated adapter plate is included. For
the installation
manufacturers one of the other two adapter
plates must be modified accordingly.
1. First, remove the plastic sole of your
router. The mounting screws of the sole
will later be used to mount the router to
the adapter plate.
2. Mark the holes for mounting the plate to
the router. The router should be mount-
ed in such a way that the tool of the
router is in the middle of the hole in the
adapter plate.
3. Drill and countersink the holes and
mount the adapter plate in place of the
sole and set the router aside for the time
being.
4. Block the switch on the router itself in
the ON position in a suitable way, e.G.
with a cable tie. Now the router can be
turned ON and OFF with the switch
mounted to the table.
Now Assemble the Table itself. Please also
observe the Exploded View on Page 11.
1. First, use the truss head screws to
mount the housing of the switch to one
of the legs. The necessary holes are
already there from the factory.
