Installing the lower end stops

Prerequisites:

The position indicator 1 690 381 214 is installed on
the DAS 800/1000 (VAS 6430).
R
The "SCT 1" and "SCT 2" position indicators are set
according to the measurement bay.
R
The DAS 800/1000 (VAS 6430) has been ali-
gned using the spirit level for the pitch angle
(Abb. 11, item 1) and the spirit level for the roll
angle (Abb. 11, item 2).
1. Remove the covers on the frame of the installed
calibration board.

2. Loosen the ruler (1 690 382 469) (Abb. 2, item 2)
on the DAS 800/1000 (VAS 6430) and set it to the
lowest position.
 The ruler rests on the ground.
3. Use the hand crank to move the DAS 800/1000
(VAS 6430) down until the "SCT 2" position indicator
(Abb. 13, item 1) is at 780 mm.

4. Insert one end stop (Abb. 14, item 1) each on the
left and right into the top of the frame (Abb. 14, item
2).

5. Slide the end stops down and fasten them slightly.

6. Insert mount 1 and mount 2 into the top of the
frame and slide them down.

7. Attach the P-Assist S5 to mount 2 and secure it with
the arrestor cable to mount 2.
8. Switch on the P-Assist S5.
 The laser beam marks the ruler.
