3. Turn the handle knob (11) counter clockwise for a
few turns to loosen it. You can slide up and down
the pre-assembled auxiliary handle (4) on the
upper tube to find the desired working position.
Then turn the handle knob clockwise to tighten it
(see fig. C).

Connection

Connect the unit to an extension cord.
Make sure the power mains voltage corresponds
to the operating voltage stated on the type label.
Use only suitable extension cords (for outdoor
use, preferably use extension cords with a cable
H07 RN-F; 3 x 1.5 mm
professional.
We recommend using a residual current circuit-
breaker with a nominal residual current of ≤ 30
mA, as available from Westfalia.
Lead the extension cord through the extension
cord retainer (12) located at the main handle (2). This prevents you from
unplugging the soil aerator unintentionally (see fig. D).
Connect the other end of the extension cord to the power mains.

Start-Up

1. Before using the electric snow thrower, remove all stones, sticks and other
obstacles from the working area.
2. Before each use perform a visual inspection of the snow thrower.
3. Hold the unit firmly with both hands – one hand at the main handle (2) and the
other hand at the auxiliary handle (4).
4. Place the device on the ground where you intend
to remove the snow.
5. Press and hold the lock-off button (14). Then
Press the ON/OFF trigger (1) (see fig. E).
6. The hob wheel (8) rotates with high speed. The
snow is thrown from the working area of the hob
wheel in forward direction.
