Connecting via a wireless LAN router
without WPS (SSID connection)
Make sure that a mobile device or computer is
connected to the wireless LAN router.

Enter network standby mode or nomal
standby mode.

Press [ ] (standby/on) for 10 seconds
or longer.

When the NETWORK indicator starts
flashing in red, release the button.
• The indicator lights in red first. Keep
holding the button until it starts flashing
in red.
• After releasing the button, wait for approx.
30 seconds or longer until the NETWORK
indicator flashes in white.
• If the wireless function is OFF, it will
automatically turn ON.

Turn on the Wi-Fi on your device.
– iPod/iPhone/iPad
– Android devices
– PCs
• For iPod/iPhone/iPad select "Wi-Fi" from
the "Settings" menu, and turn it ON.
Wi-Fi
• For Android devices, select "Wireless &
networks" from the "Settings" menu, and
then select "Wi-Fi settings".
• For computers, open the wireless LAN
network settings window.
• See the instruction manual for your
device for more details.

Select "SP-AP1 xxxxxx" from the
networks displayed on the screen.
• "xxxxxx" indicates the unique model
number.

Open a web browser (such as Safari) on
your device.
Enter "192.168.1.12" into the address bar.
The SP-AP1 settings page is displayed.

• You can check the MAC address for the

Select the SSID for your router from the
"Choose Your Network" list.
