Wall-mounted installation

This chapter describes the wall-mounted installation of the
xM10 function module.
If the power supply to the wall mounted xM10 function module
is not provided via the MX25/MC110/MC10 control unit, a
standard circuit breaker (to EN 60335-1) must be installed on
site to interrupt all phases of the power supply.
▶ Mark borehole positions for the wall mounting bracket [3].
▶ Drill holes according to the hole pattern of the wall
mounting bracket [3] (Ø 6 mm).
▶ Insert rawl plugs into the boreholes and insert the screws
provided [1] until they protrude only 5 mm.
▶ Hook wall mounting bracket [3] into position and tighten
screws. If necessary secure wall mounting bracket [3] to
the wall using additional hole [2].

▶ First fit the function module [2] in the wall mounting
bracket, and make sure it engages at the lock [1].

Making electrical connections
Danger to life due to current!
▶ Ensure that any electrical work is only carried out by an
approved contractor.
▶ Observe the relevant requirements
when working on electrical installations.
▶ Before opening the control unit, carry out double pole
isolation of the heating system via the ON/OFF switch.
Secure against unintentional reconnection.

▶ Using the terminals provided, connect the mains supply
cable, bus cable and other components (e.g. pumps,
temperature sensors etc.) to the function module
according to the application. For the exact assignment
(components - terminals), refer to the connection

diagrams provided.
▶ Guide the cables through the rubber grommet [5].
▶ Correctly wire power cable [4], BUS cable [3] and further
components to terminals [1] and [2] of the function
module according to the connection diagram.
▶ Secure strain relief [6] correctly using the clips provided.
