Mains connection
The mains socket, to which the light effect is connected, must be easily
accessible so the device can be quickly separated from the mains voltage
in the case of a fault.
Do not let the mains cable come into contact with other cables.
Be careful when handling the mains cables and main connectors. Mains
voltage can give severe electric shocks, which can be fatal.
Do not leave the cables trailing free; route them in an orderly and pro-
fessional way to prevent accidents.
• Plug the power plug of the power supply cable into a wall socket.
• Set the desired operating mode with the POWER switch (see „Operation").

Operation

The LED stroboscope can be controlled via the sound-to-light control or manually.
The operating mode is set with the POWER switch.

Handling
• Never operate the device with damaged housing or missing covers.
• The device is not suitable for continuous use. Pauses in operation increase the working
life of the product.
• Never plug the device into a mains socket immediately after the device has been taken
from a cold into a warm environment. The condensation that forms might destroy your
unit. Allow the device to reach room temperature before connecting it. Wait until the
condensation has evaporated.
• Never remove mains plugs from the mains socket by pulling the cable. Always pull out
the mains plug by gripping it on the surfaces provided for the purpose.
• Always disconnect the power unit from the mains socket, if the device is not going to be
used for la while.
• For safety reasons, always remove the mains plug from the mains socket during
thunderstorms.
• To ensure sufficient ventilation, do not cover the device. Apart from this, the air circulation
may not be obstructed by objects such as magazines, table cloths, curtains or similar.

Maintenance

Periodically check the technical safety of the LED stroboscope, e.g. check for damage to
the power cable or the housing.
If a safe operation can no longer be assumed, the device has to be put out of operation and
secured against unintended operation. Pull the power plug out of the socket!
A safe operation can no longer be assumed, if:
• the device is visibly damaged,
• the device no longer works
• it was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long time or
• if it was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport
Always observe the following safety instructions before cleaning or servicing the effect pro-
jector:
After switching the device off, wait at least 10 minutes before opening it!
When opening covers or removing parts you may expose live parts.
The device must be disconnected from all power sources before carrying
out any servicing or repair work.
Capacitors in the device may still be charged, even if the device has been
disconnected from all power supplies.
Repairs may only be carried out by qualified personnel who are familiar
with the hazards involved and the relevant regulations.
Cleaning
The outside of the light effect should only be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth or brush.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the
surface of the housing.
