Here are a few recipe ideas to try with your waffle maker:
TRADITIONAL WAFFLES
3 free range eggs
170ml semi-skimmed milk
230g Self raising flour
30g Sugar
100g Butter.
Switch on the ST15 Waffle Maker and allow to heat up while you make the waffle mix. The red and green
lights will be illuminated.
Melt the butter and allow to cool slightly.
Whisk 3 eggs in a mixing bowl.
Add the melted butter, sugar and milk
Mix thoroughly and stir, carefully fold in the flour.
When the green light goes out, it is time to start cooking your waffles.
Put approx 1 tablespoon of waffle mix onto each plate and close the lid.
Leave for around 4 minutes. Then open the lid and remove your waffles using a wooden spatula.
The waffles should be crispy brown and cooked through, ready to eat.
You may cook the waffles for longer if required.
SHORTBREAD WAFFLES
200 g butter
200 g sugar
4 free range eggs
Grated rind of 1/2 lemon
200 g plain flour
Switch on the ST15 Waffle Maker and allow to heat up while you make the waffle mix. The red and green
lights will be illuminated.
Cream the butter and sugar.
Beat in the eggs and lemon rind. Stir in the plain flour.
When the green light goes out, it is time to start cooking your waffles.
Carefully fill each of the bottom baking plates with the waffle mix and close the lid.
Leave for around 4 minutes. Then open the lid and remove your waffles using a wooden spatula.
The waffles should be crispy brown and cooked through, ready to eat.
You may cook the waffles for longer if required.
CRISP WAFFLES
200 g butter
150 g sugar
4 eggs
350 g plain flour
1 dsp rum
few drops vanilla essence
150-200 ml water (not milk)
