1. Fig. 3: Mark two holes horizontally spaced 83
mm apart. Drill the holes in the wall using a
suitable 10 mm drill bit.
2. Fig. 4: Insert two 10 mm wall plugs (14) into the
holes and tap the shorter side of the two
fastening bolts (13) into the wall plugs.
3. Fig. 5: Push the wall holder (8) on to the two
fastening bolts (13). Mark the other three holes
for fastening the wall holder.
4. Fig. 6: Secure the wall holder (8) using the
hexagon head screws (11) and washers (12).
5. Fig. 7: Insert the retaining pin (9) as far as
possible into the hose reel.
6. Fig. 8: Place the hose reel and retaining pin on to
the wall holder.
7. Screw the tap connector (Fig. 2 / Item 10) on to a
suitable water tap. Connect the hose coupling
(Fig. 1 / Item 6) to the water tap.
5. Operation (Fig. 9)
Important: Make sure that the hose is under
pressure only during use. Turn off the water supply
after use and empty the hose before winding it up.
Pull out the hose to the desired length.
Important: To prevent damage, pull on the hose
or the stopper and not on the spray nozzle.
There are audible clicks each time the hose reel
turns one full rotation. The hose reel locks at
these clicks and is not drawn in automatically.
Check if the spray nozzle is closed and then
open the water supply.
The hose is now ready for use and you can start
with your work. Infinite adjustment of the water
jet from no water to fine spray to strong jet is
possible by turning the front part of the spray
nozzle.
When you are finished with your work, close the
spray nozzle first and then the water supply.
Before you wind up the hose, open the spray
nozzle again to release the remaining water
pressure and take the strain off the hose.
To wind up the hose, pull it out slightly and it will
wind itself back onto the reel automatically.
Important: Do not let go of the hose while it is
being wound up. This could damage the hose
and reel.
When it is not in use the hose coupling may be
removed from the water tap and pushed on to
the coupling fastener (Fig. 1 / item 7).
