Changing the Cap-knob (see figures A1 – A2)
– Turn the lock ring 3 anticlockwise to the stop and pull the cap-knob (1
or 2) up and off.
– Mount the desired cap-knob (1 or 2) in such a manner onto the spice
container 4 that the hexagon retainer of the cap-knob fits on the drive
bar 6 of the grinding mechanism, and the cogs of lock ring 3 engage in
the recesses of the spice container.
– Turn the lock ring 3 clockwise to the stop and check the tight seating of
the cap-knob.
Filling the Spice Container (see figure B)
– Turn the lock ring 3 anticlockwise to the stop and pull the cap-knob (1
or 2) up and off.
– Fill the desired spice into the spice container 4. Do not fill the spice
container to the top.
– Mount the desired cap-knob (1 or 2) again.
Operation
Setting the Grinding Degree (see figure C)
– More fine grinding:
Turn adjustment screw 8 clockwise.
– More coarse grinding:
Turn adjustment screw 8 anticlockwise.
Note: Do not screw the adjustment screw 8 of the grinding mechanism
too tight in order to prevent damage to the grinding mechanism.
Do not unscrew the adjustment screw 8 too far, otherwise it will fall out.
Mounting the Spice Grinder to the IXO Screwdriver
(see figure D)
– Insert the hexagon adapter 9 of cap-knob 1 directly into the tool holder
of the screwdriver.
