Do not use the appliance for anything other

Never operate the appliance for longer than

The appliance has been designed for process-

ing food and liquids in common household
quantities. Do not operate the food chopper
with the jug filled with liquid.
Cut the food into suitably sized pieces about

1 to 2 cm and place in the jug in small quanti-
ties.
Do not use the appliance if the blades are
■
damaged or show signs of wear.
Always use the appliance on a stable, flat,
■
clean and dry surface.
Make sure that there is no danger that the
■
power cord could be accidentally pulled or
that someone could trip over it when the ap-
pliance is in use.
Position the appliance in such a way that the
■
plug is always accessible.
A spatula may be used to remove the food
■
from the jug.The appliance must be switched
off before doing this.
This appliance is not suitable for dry or hard
■
foods as this will quickly cause the blades to
become dull.
Remove bones and stones from food to
■
prevent the blades and the appliance from
becoming damaged.
In order to reduce the risk of injury, never
■
attach the blades of the appliance onto the
base unit, if the chopper is not seated prop-
erly.
Make sure that the lid is seated properly on
■
the chopping jug before you switch on the
appliance.
Never operate the appliance for longer than
■
necessary for processing the food.

To prevent overheating, do not use the appli-

ance continuously for more than 10 seconds.
Leave to cool for 1 minute in between each
10 second operation.
Hold the appliance firmly at the top of it while
■
operating.
While operating use the appliance pulse wise
■
instead of using it constantly.
Ensure that you use the appliance with its own
■
rubber pad.
