Operation with Headphones
Next to the power socket is headphone socket (6) with a 3.5 mm plug. The
speaker is turned off when the headphones are plugged in.
Installing the Telescopic Antenna
For best reception and clarity screw the included telescopic antenna (article No.
10 79 53) on the radio.
First remove the antenna (2) and then replace it with the telescopic antenna.
When listening to broadcasts, extend the telescopic antenna to its full length,
for the best reception and clarity.
If you do not use the radio or transport it, push the antenna completely back
to avoid damaging by mistake.
Maintaining and Care
Please use a soft cloth and mild detergents which do not pit the plastic
material.
Do not clean the unit with aggressive chemicals, solvents or abrasives.
Never immerse the unit into liquids.
