Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the appliance and
connect the plug to a grounded wall socket only.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the appliance, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a
qualified person.
Only use the appliance for the intended use. The appliance is not designed
for continuous, professional use.
Keep the appliance while operating out of reach of children or persons in
need of supervision. Do not let the appliance unsupervised while not in use.
Place the toast oven on a flat, heat-resistant and stable surface and do not
use the appliance outdoors. Do not place the appliance on or near a gas or
electric stove to avoid damaging the appliance or the cord.
Do not cover the appliance and do not store objects on the appliance.
Make sure that the space between the appliance and the wall, furniture or
other objects is at least 10 cm (4 inches). Keep inflammable objects and
materials, such as newspaper, PVC, alcohol, tablecloths, flooring, curtains
and the like away from the appliance.
Do not place food on the bottom of the toast oven but use the grille or the
baking tray.
Guard against electric shock. Never immerse the whole appliance, the plug or
the power cord into water and do not splash water on the appliance when it is
in operation.
Do not touch hot surfaces, there is risk of burns! Use oven gloves when
handling the appliance. Wait until hot parts have completely cooled down
before carrying or cleaning the toast oven.
Please switch OFF the appliance and unplug from the power supply before
cleaning, maintaining or when not in use.
