Connection

 Connect the unit to an extension cord.
 Make sure the power mains voltage corresponds to the operating voltage
stated on the type label.
 Use only suitable extension cords (for outdoor use, these are extension
cords with a cable H07 RN-F; 3x 1.5 mm
sional.
 We recommend using a residual current
circuit-breaker with a nominal residual current
of ≤ 30 mA, as available from Westfalia.
 Lead the extension cord through the extension
cord retainer located at the main handle. This
prevents you from unplugging the soil aerator
unintentionally.
 Connect the other end of the extension cord to
the power mains.

Starting the Motor

3. For starting the motor, frist press the safety switch (8) and pull the start
switch (1) in direction of the handle (3).
4. For switching off the motor, simply release the start switch (1).

Operating the Lawn Mower

Make sure the area to be mowed is free from obstacles and foreign objects.
Never mow over obstacles, sticks, tree roots etc.
When starting the lawn mower always look at the ground and ahead of you in
a distance of approx. 1 m.
Walk while your are cutting the lawn. Do not walk to fast and do not run while
operating the lawn mower.
Do not start the lawn mower if the decharge opening is not covered by the
grass collection box or the deflector plate.
