Before first Use

Clean the unit before using the first time as described below under
"Cleaning".
You can operate the mini camera with a battery or with the included
adaptor. The adaptor is designed only for use with this unit. Do not
attempt to use other appliances with this adaptor and do not operate
the mini camera with other adaptors.

Operating with Battery

1. Open the battery compartment (1) and insert one battery of the
type LR06 (AA) 1.5 V into the battery compartment, observing
the right polarity. The polarity symbol is shown on the battery
compartment. For best performance, use alkaline batteries.
Do not disassemble, burn, or short-circuit batteries and do not
attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
2. Switch on your TV and search for the video channel (AV). Insert
the yellow cinch plug of the camera adaptor (6) into the yellow
video port on your TV and connect the plug of the mini camera
with the adaptor jack.
If your TV does not provide a cinch port but only a scart port, you
need to connect a scart/cinch-Adaptor. You can order a suitable
scart/cinch-Adpator from Westfalia. The article no. is 33 85 09.
3. The built-in LED lights automatically switch on and the unit is
ready for use. For switching off, press the ON/OFF button (2).
4. Always slide a disposable PE bag over the
camera, if you intend to use the camera in body
orifices (e. g. mouth, nose, ear). Keep the camera
lens (4) approx. 1.5 cm away from the object to be
checked (example: tooth) in order to get a clear
image.
