Getting Started

• Select the same channel (1, 2 or 3) on all 3 light bars using the sliding switch "CHANNEL".
If you select a different channel, the additional light bars cannot be activated to-
gether with the light bar main unit!
If you have bought several light bar sets, you are also able to monitor and illuminate
larger areas in a reliable and safe manner by selecting the same channel.
• You can switch between the following functions using the second sliding switch on the two
additional light bars:
"OFF"
The additional light bar is permanently switched off.
"AUTO"
The additional light bar is controlled via the main unit.
• The light bar main unit can be switched between the following functions using the sliding
switch on the main unit:
"OFF"
The light bar main unit is switched off. When the sliding switch on the additional
light bar is in the "AUTO" position, the light on the additional light bar will be
switched off automatically.
"ON"
The light bar main unit is switched on. When the sliding switch on the additional
light bar is in the "AUTO" position, the light on the additional light bar will be
switched on automatically.
"AUTO"
The PIR sensor is active. When the sensor detects a temperature change within
the detection area, it activates the light in the light bar main unit. When the sliding
switch on the additional light bars is in the "AUTO" position, the light on the ad-
ditional light bars will also be switched on automatically.
The switch-on time is approx. 1 minute (not changeable). If the PIR sensor de-
tects another temperature change within the period of the switch-on time, the
switch-on time starts again.
Please note: However, to save power, the light is only activated at a low ambient
brightness (a brightness sensor is installed below the PIR cover). If you want to
test the functioning of the light bars, this is only possible at a low ambient bright-
ness!
If you do not intend to use the light bars for a long period (e.g. if they are to be
stored away), remove the inserted batteries/rechargeable batteries fi rst. Due to the
integrated radio technology, the light bars consume an (a low) amount of power,
even when they are switched off.
Cleaning
Clean the product only with a soft, clean, dry and lint-free cloth. Do not press on the LEDs too
strongly, they could be damaged.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions that could damage the housing
(discolouring) or impair operation.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste materials and must not be disposed of in the
household waste!
Dispose of the unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regu-
lations.
b) Normal and Rechargeable Batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries and
rechargeable batteries. Do not dispose of used batteries in the household waste!
Contaminated batteries/rechargeable batteries are labelled with the following sym-
bols to indicate that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The symbols of the
relevant heavy metals are: Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Mercury, Pb=Lead (marked on bat-
teries/rechargeable batteries, e.g. under the rubbish bin symbol shown to the left).
You can return your used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at the offi cial col-
lection points of your community, in our stores, or at places where batteries or rechargeable
batteries are sold!
You thereby fulfi l your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
