13. Maintenance and Cleaning
Before cleaning the outside of the transmitter or the receiver, separate the devices from the mains sup-
ply and pull the wall power supplies out of the mains socket.
To clean the outside of the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents.
14. Disposal
a) General Information
Electrical and electronic products may not enter the household waste!
Please dispose of the products at the end of their life cycles according to the relevant statu-
tory regulations.
b) Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechargeable
batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the follo-
wing symbols, which point out that they must not be disposed of in the domestic refuse. The
designations for the decisive heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
You may return used batteries/rechargeable batteries/coin cell batteries free of charge at
the official collection points of your community, in our stores, or wherever batteries/rechar-
geable batteries/coin cell batteries are sold!
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to the protection of the environment!
