1. Intended use:
• Measurement of AC voltages from 0.1 mV to 600 V max. with
automatic range switching (Auto Range) between the 3.2 V,
32 V, 320 V and 600 V range limits.
• The panel meter must not be operated without being appro-
priately installed into a case, switchboard, panel or similar.
• Measurements in damp areas, out of doors, or under unfavour-
able environmental conditions is not permitted. Unfavourable
environmental conditions include:

- wetness or excessive humidity,
- dust and combustible gases, fumes or solvents,
- strong vibrations,
- strong magnetic fields, as in the vicinity of machines or loud-
speakers,
- static electricity (fields and discharges).
Any use other than as described above can lead to damage to the
product and can also produce hazards such as, for example.
short-circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may
be modified or converted! The safety instructions are to be follo-

2. Introduction
The Auto Range AC Voltage Module is an LCD panel-mounted
meter with a maximum resolution of "3199" for simple measure-
ment tasks. Despite its small dimensions, it is very accurate and
robust. The unit is intended to be used as a built-in instrument in
equipment, switchboards, control panels, etc. (e.g. power sup-
plies). It can also be used (when cased - observe safety regulati-
ons!) as a stand-alone voltmeter up to 600 V AC rms max.
Zero-setting (offset), range selection and hence decimal point
positioning occur automatically. A special feature is the bar
graph indicator.
3. Safety information
• The Auto Range AC Voltage Module is EMC- and safety-tested
(CE) and therefore meets EMC directive 89/336/EU and low vol-
tage directive 73/23/EU.
• This unit is manufactured in accordance with VDE 0411 / IEC
1010 and left the factory in perfect technically-safe condition.
