b) Checking the charge status
Push the on/off switch (2) to show the charge status.
No LED lights up: internal rechargeable battery empty
1 LED lights up: internal rechargeable battery is charged 0 - 25 %
2 LEDs light up: internal rechargeable battery is charged 25 - 50 %
3 LEDs light up: internal rechargeable battery is charged 50 - 75 %
4 LEDs light up: internal rechargeable battery is charged 75 - 100 %
5 LEDs light up: internal rechargeable battery is fully charged
c) Charging a Micro-USB device
1. Push the Micro-USB cable (1) out of the side of the housing. Hold the ribbed surface of the plug and
exercise caution.
2. Connect the Micro-USB plug to the appropriate connection on your mobile device.
3. Push the on/off switch (2) to begin charging. The charge status is shown for approx. 5 seconds. Then the
charge status indicator (3) flashes in the form of a minus sign.
4. Push the on/off switch during charging to show the charge status for approx. 5 seconds.
5. Monitor the charging process. Disconnect the Micro-USB cable from the mobile device once charging is
completed. Store the Micro-USB cable in the housing.
6. The product turns off automatically after 40 seconds of inactivity.
You can manually interrupt charging by pushing and holding the on/off switch for 3 seconds.
The charge status is shown during these 3 seconds. Release the on/off switch once the charge
status indicator goes out. If you release the on/off switch while the charge status indicator is still
lit, the product will remain on and charging will continue.
If you push and hold the on/off switch for too long, the product will turn off briefly and then
restart. Should this happen, wait until the charge status indicator goes out again and then
release the on/off switch.
d) Charging an iPhone/iPod
1. Push the unlock key (5) to expose the 30-pin charging port (4).
2. Carefully connect your iPhone/iPod to the charging port.
3. Push the on/off switch (2) to begin charging. The charge status is shown for approx. 5 seconds. Then,
the charge status indicator (3) flashes in the form of a minus sign.
4. Push the on/off switch during charging to show the charge status for approx. 5 seconds.
5. Monitor the charging process. Disconnect your iPhone/iPod from the charging port once it is fully
charged. Fold in the charging port.
6. The product turns off automatically after 40 seconds of inactivity.

Maintenance and cleaning

Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions
as they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
• Disconnect any connected device from the product before cleaning.
• Never submerge the product in water.
• There are no components located inside the product you need to maintain. Never open/dismantle the
product.
• To clean the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient. Do not apply too much pressure to the housing
to prevent scratching.
• You can easily remove dust using a long-haired, soft and clean brush.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
The built-in rechargeable battery must be disposed of by a specialist.
b) Rechargeable batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used rechargeable batteries.
Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated rechargeable batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that disposal in the
domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium,
Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on rechargeable batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used rechargeable batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our stores
or wherever rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
