addition, the USB air humidifier may be damaged, invalidating the warranty/guarantee!
• When the USB air humidifier is in operation, small objects or hair may be drawn into the fan.
This presents a risk of injury.
• Never block the inlets and outlets, otherwise the device may overheat. Never attach any
decorations or similar objects to the USB air humidifier.
• Operate the USB air humidifier via a suitable power supply, e.g. a USB port on a computer,
a USB port on a USB hub with an individual power adaptor or a power adaptor with a USB
power socket.
• The power supply used must be sufficient when operating via battery (see "Technical data").

Operating elements

Operation

a) Inserting batteries into the USB air humidifier
The USB air humidifier can be operated either with batteries/rechargeable batteries or a USB
power source. In principle, the device can be operated with rechargeable batteries. However,
due to the lower voltage of rechargeable batteries (rechargeable batteries = 1.2 V, conventional
batteries = 1.5 V), the batteries will run out faster and the performance of the device will drop.
1. Remove the battery compartment cover from the bottom of the USB humidifier.
2. Insert four AAA/Micro batteries in the battery compartment, ensuring that they are the right way up (pay
attention to the plus/+ and minus/- symbols).
3. Reseal the battery compartment.
b) Connecting the USB humidifier to a USB power supply
1. Connect the low voltage connector on the USB cable to the USB port on the air humidifier.
2. Connect the USB-A connector on the USB cable to a suitable power supply (e.g. a USB port on a
computer, a USB port on a USB hub with an individual power adaptor or a power adaptor with a USB
power socket).
The USB power supply takes precedence over battery power. When batteries are inserted in
the USB air humidifier and the USB cable is connected to a USB power source, the device
operates via USB only.
