Battery Replacement
The Metal Radio is operated with two micro batteries for
the radio and a round cell for the time and date indica-
tion. It is necessary to replace the batteries, if the radio
sound volume decreases or the display does not indi-
cate the time and the date clearly anymore! The round
cell is located under the micro batteries.
Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the
housing! Replace the batteries only by new ones of the
same type! Please observe correct polarity "+" and "-"
as indicated inside the battery compartment! For the
round cell, the positive pole "+" is at the top. Then,
close the battery compartment!
Round cells should be considered as special
waste and therefore should not be disposed
of in the garbage bin or litter. Empty round
cells can be returned to your specialist deal-
er's shop where there are special facilities
(collecting boxes).

Alarm Function
(Alarm Time or Day Alarm Setting)
Press the "MODE" key "2"! The display indicates "hours :
minutes" as well as the symbol "AL". Then, press the
"SELECT" key "4" several times! Now, with this key you
can set the following function: (also observe the different
symbols on the right of the display!)
Clock symbol
alarm with alarm tone
Antenna symbol alarm with radio
No symbol
no alarm with alarm tone or radio
Thus, you can activate/deactivate the alarm function! To
set or change the alarm time, proceed as follows:
If you have selected the respective symbol, please press
the "SET" key "3"! On the display, the hours indication
starts flashing. By pressing the keys "SELECT" (4) and
"MODE" (2) alternately, you can set the desired alarm
time (hours and minutes)!
