The external power unit has to deliver 9V DC (9V=) und a current of 1A; the positive
pole lies at the internal contact, the earth at the external contact (see figure next to
the connection).
c) Left and right supporting leg
The two supporting legs differ from one another: the one has two openings, the oth-
er two hooks. Attach them adequately at the left and the right side of the CD-tower in
order to increase stability.
d) Forward & backward push-button
By operating these two push buttons the motor drive is activated; two speeds are
possible:
Light pressure:
slow motion
Strong pressure: quick motion
e) LED switch
The switch in the centre between the forward and backward push buttons turns the
loudness-dependent modulation display at both sides of the CD-tower on and off.
f) Link-coupling & master/slave sliding switch
The sliding switch has to be in position "M" (master).
The link coupling serves to connect up to two further identical CD-towers; in this
case the sliding switch has to be shifted to "S" (slave).
During link operation one single plug-in power supply with an out-
put voltage of 9V= and an output current of 3A has to be used, that
has to be connected to the "master" CD-tower! No plug-in power
supply must be connected to the one or two "slave" CD-towers!

6. Rangement de CD

• Insérez les CD dans la bande transporteuse au sommet de la tour (comme illustré
ci-dessus)
• Rangez un CD dans la tour de façon à ce que l'ouverture de l'étui soit dirigée vers
la tour. Cela évite qu'un CD ne glisse de son étui.
• Répartissez les CD de manière régulière sur toute la bande transporteuse de la tour
CD. Sinon, l'entraînement risque d'être endommagé ; un rangement irrégulier de CD
restreint la stabilité de la tour.
