Pull the mains plug out of the socket if you do not use the set and
every time before you clean it.
Never pour out any liquid above the casing. There is the hazard of
an electric shock which is dangerous to life. If such a case should
occur notwithstanding this pull the mains plug out of the socket
immediately and seek the aid by an expert.
Make sure the set is sufficiently ventilated (never cover it).
Avoid exposing the set to mechanical stresses.
Do not use the two-way intercom system in rooms or infavourable
ambient conditions where there are or might be inflammable gases,
vapours or dusts.
Live elements could be exposed whenever covers are opened or
components removed, but connection points could be under a vol-
tage as well. Disconnect the two-way intercom system from the
mains voltage before maintaining the set or repairing or exchanging
elements or units. Get the maintainance or repair of the two-way
intercom system made by an authorized EXPERT who is conversant
with the dangers involved and the relevant instructions.
If there is reason to believe that safe operation has become impos-
sible put the two-way intercom system out of operation and secure
it against any unintended operation. Safe operation must be presu-
med to be no longer possible, if
- the two-way intercom system exhibits visible damage
- the two-way intercom system does not operate any longer
- the two-way intercom system was stored under unfavourable
conditions for a long period of time, or
- the two-way intercom system was exposed to extraordinary
stress caused by transport.
