2. MAX/MIN function

You can use the MAX/MIN function to ascertain the
minimum or maximum temperature, or humidity that
has been recorded during a given period. This given
period may be hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly, de-
pending on when the equipment measures an upward
or downward fluctuation in temperature or humidity
that deviates from the standard value.
Example:
The thermometer shows an even temperature of
21.3ºC. This temperature now changes, if the window
is opened, for example, falling to 19ºC. If the window is
closed again, the temperature display shows 21.3ºC
again. The thermometer works in the same way for hu-
midity.
In the normal course of events, you might not notice
variations in temperature or humidity. With this product
it is now possible to record such fluctuations. Proceed
as follows:
2.1 Press the "MAX/MIN" button. Both displays (tem-
perature and humidity) should show the "MAX" symbol
additionally. If you press this button again, "MIN" is
