The type of illumination influences the
information which the eye supplies to the
brain. Allow more light where precise
vision is important. You need adequate
orientation light so as, for instance, to be
able to see a possible tripping hazard in
good time. There is a danger of accidents
in rooms which are darker than 30 lux.
Consider that light is by far the smallest
part of your electricity bill, amounting to
only approx. 8%!
Older people require more light because
their vision has become less sharp. A 60-
year old requires approximately twice as
much light as a 30-year old.
The distribution of brightness in a room
must be harmonic and take account of
contrast. In living areas, use indirectly-

Un éclairage approprié augmente la sen-
sation de bien-être. Un bon éclairage glo-
bal est donc indispensable.
Manipulation
Rabattez tout d'abord le couvercle infé-
rieur, ce qui libère la cellule photoélec-
trique.
