Commissioning
To guarantee proper commissioning, these Operating Instruc-
tions, including the safety instructions, must be thoroughly read
and noted before using the preamplifier!
Before connecting the preamplifier, switch off the preamplifier
and all other devices that are connected to it and isolate them
from the supply.
Adopt the same procedure when modifying the equipment config-
uration.
Setting up
The preamplifier must be installed on a flat, stable surface.
When selecting a location in which to install your appliance,
choose somewhere which avoids direct sunlight, vibration, dust,
heat, low temperature and dampness. The appliance must be
located away from powerful transformers or motors.
Only use the preamplifier in a horizontal position on a stable base
that is unaffected by heat, otherwise correct air flow cannot be
ensured. Under no circumstances install it on a soft surface or
carpet because this obstructs air flow and prevents necessary
cooling of the appliance.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in damage to the
appliance.
