DIP Switch and Potentiometer
You can carry out additional adjustments via the DIP switch and the
potentiometer.

F.L = Flicker suppression
AGC = Automatic sensitivity adjustment
AES = Automatic exposure time
BLC = Counter-light compensation
IRIS-Level = Potentiometer for the shutter control
If the flicker suppression is turned on, the automatic exposure
time is deactivated.
You can set the automatic sensitivity adaptation to low(=OFF)
(up to 16dB) or high (up to 26dB).
We recommend leaving the functions AES and BLC turned on.
Assembly
Prior to the final assembly, check the camera image once again with
the cover closed on your TV/monitor. It may be that the cover
obstructs parts of the picture or the entire picture.
If this is the case, re-align the camera.

The camera should not be installed in proximity to appliances with
strong electric fields, e.g. cell phones, walkie-talkies, electric engi-
nes, etc.
This could have a negative influence on the image quality.
Direct sunlight respectively bright lights may impair the camera ima-
ge and aggravate looking at the monitor.
Observe this when selecting the installation site.
Look for a suitable spot for the camera you wish to observe.
The camera in intended for mounting on walls and ceilings.
Connection:
For the power supply, use a DC voltage source with a
12-Volt output. Never attempt to operate the DOME
camera with a different voltage.
The DC source must be able to provide a minimum load
current of 110 mA for the b/w camera and 120 mA for
the color camera. Never overload the voltage source.
The camera is connected to the monitor
/TV via a BNC line.
The camera features a low-voltage jack
for the power supply.
Jacks:
BNC jack (1): Video signal
Low-voltage jack (2): Voltage supply
Connect the DC voltage source with the
low-voltage jack (2).
