AWM VOICE PACK for HS-8
This is the AWM
VOICE PACK for use with the Yamaha
HS-8 Electone.
<Loading Voices>
1. Open the cover at the front on the left hand side of the
lower keyboard, and take out one of the three packs
currently positioned there. Insert a new AWM
Pack
with the AWM Voice Pack label facing upwards.
(Fig. 1)
To select voices from the AWM
Pack for either the
upper or lower keyboard, either the second or third
pack should be selected (AWM PRESET-VOICE PACK
1 or AWM
PRESET-VOICE PACK 2).
To select voices from the AWM
Pack for the pedal
keyboard, use the leftmost pack (AWM BASS-VOICE
PACK).
How to use the panel buttons to select an AWM Voice Pack

Press AWM PRESET button
3. Press the ENSEMBLE button and the AWM
PRESET
button for either the upper or lower keyboard. (This
step is not necessary if you set the AWM BASS pack.)
4. Press the button corresponding to the position of the
pack which you inserted, either the AWM
PRESET
VOICE PACK 1 (PIPE ORGAN) or the AWM
PRESET
VOICE
PACK 2 (BRASS). If you inserted the AWM
BASS pack, press the button for the AWM BASS VOICE
PACK (STRINGS BASS). (Fig. 2)
* Always close the cover of the insertion slot before
playing, as otherwise no sound will be produced.

tion manual for the HS unit.

neue Pack mit dem AWM
Etikett nach
oben ein.

Das zweite und dritte Pack von links,
"AWM PRE-
SET-VOICE PACK 1" und "AWM PRESET-VOICE
PACK 2", sind für die beiden Manuale (oben und
unten) bestimmt.
* Das Pack
ganz links, "AWM BASS-VOICE PACK",
ist für die
Pedale gedacht.

3. Um neue AWM Klangfarben fiir das obere order un-
tere Manual aufzurufen, driicken Sie die entsprech-
enden Ensemble und AWM-Preset Schalter.
4. Drücken Sie die Taste, die der Position des Packs
zugeordnet wurde, das Sie eingeschoben haben,
d.h.
entweder "AWM
PRESET
VOICE PACK 1"
(PIPE ORGAN)
oder "AWM PRESET VOICE PACK
2" (BRASS).
Wenn Sie die Klange für die Pedale
laden móchten, müssen Sie das AWM BASS VOICE
PACK (STRINGS BASS) in den Schacht schieben
und die dem Bass Voice Pack zugeordnete Taste
drücken. (Abb. 2)
* Vergessen Sie nicht, den Deckel des Schachtes nach
Einschieben des Packs zu schlieBen, weil Sie die
Klánge sonst nicht einsetzen kónnen.

4 und 5 der Bedienungsanleitung Ihrer HS.

Les cartouches AWM VOICE PACK constituent une banque
de sons AWM
(Advanced Wave
Memory) destinés à
l'Electone HS-8.
«Charge des sons»
1. Ouvrir le couvercle situé en avant, à gauche du clavier
inférieur et retirer une des trois cartouches qui s'y trouvent.
Introduire une cartouche AWM VOICE PACK correcte-
ment, la face qui contient les inscriptions orientée vers le
haut (Fig. 1).
e Pour mettre en place les sons du clavier inférieur ou
supérieur, choisir soit la seconde ou la troisiéme cartouche
à partir de la gauche (AWM PRESET - VOICE PACK 1
ou AWM PRESET - VOICE PACK 2).
* Pour mettre en place les sons du pédalier, choisir la
cartouche la plus à gauche (AWM BASS- VOICE PACK).

3. Appuyer sur le bouton ENSEMBLE et sur le bouton AWM
PRESET des claviers suppérieur et inférieur. (Ceci n'est
toutefois pas nécessaire quand on met en place les sons de
la cartouche AWM BASS.)
4. Enfoncer le bouton qui correspond à la position de la
cartouche introduite, soit la cartouche AWM PRESET
VOICE PACK 1 (PIPE ORGAN), soit AWM PRESET
VOICE PACK 2 (BRASS). Si c'est la cartouche AWM
BASS PACK (STRINGS BASS) qui est introduite, enfon-
cer le bouton qui lui correspond (Fig. 2).
* Toujours refermer le couvercle des compartiments à
cartouches sinon aucun son ne sera produit.
