3) Insert the tank 1, fit the attachment 8 and, if desired, slide a pad 0 onto the
holder 7.
4) Insert the plug into a mains socket.
5) Press the On/Off switch
A light shines in the opening of the attachment 8, through the nozzle 6, and the
appliance heats up.
6) Allow the appliance to heat up for about 45 seconds. Steam then flows out in
a sufficient quantity to begin the application.
7) The steam has a temperature of approx. 43–45 °C at a distance of 20 cm from
the nozzle 6. Always keep this minimum distance from your face, close your eyes
for protection (Fig. 4). If you find the steam too hot, increase the distance. We
recommend an application time of up to 10–12 minutes. If less or no steam flows
out of the appliance, the water has evaporated.

Note: You can adjust the nozzle 6 to change the steam direction by pushing
the attachment 8 down slightly from the outside or sliding it upwards.
8) Press the On/Off switch
The light in the opening of the nozzle 6 goes out and no more steam is
produced.
9) After switching off, pull the mains plug out of the mains socket.
Note: The appliance features overheating protection. As soon as the water is
completely used up, the overheating protection switches the appliance off auto-
matically. In this case, disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket and allow
the appliance to cool down.
10) After each use, let the appliance cool down for at least 5 minutes before using
or disassembling it again.
11) Pull the tank 1 out of the tank holder 3. The lower edge of the tank 1
protrudes slightly from the appliance. Lift out the tank 1 from here.
