FALLERCarSystemvehiclescanonlybeideallyguidedifthesteeringrods
areadjustedcorrectly.Thisisthecaseinthedeliveredcondition.However,
variationscanoccurforexamplethroughaccidentsintraffic.Areadjustment
isthennecessary.Themagnetslidershouldalwaysglideparalleltothesur-
faceoftheroad.TheillustrationinFig.3belowshowsidealadjustment.In
caseofsmallervehicleswithfoldedsteeringslidertip,themagneticforce
canberegulatedbyunfoldingthewirewiththetipofaknife.Thismaybe
necessarytooptimizethesteeringpower,forinstanceincaseofsteeringloss
becausethemagnetistohighorincaseof'adhesion'ofthesteeringrodto
theroadbecausethedistanceofthemagnettotheroadisreallytoosmall.
