F35: Saving necking detection sensitivity
Defines whether necking detection sensitivity automatically corrected by function is reset to the preset value
after the welding process ends.
Set internal functions F36/F37.
1
Activate internal function F34.
2
If the free welding wire end and the welding conditions are subject to dramatic changes between
the welding processes, switch off this function.

Description
F36/F37: Adjusting spatter control (P1P/P2P)
This function is available only if the internal function F34 is deactivated.
Switch off internal function F34.
1
Display internal function F36 (spatter adjustment P1P) and perform the welding process with this display.
2
Increase or decrease the value of internal function F36 and perform the welding process again.
3
Repeat this step within the adjustable range −100 to 100 until the desired result is achieved.
4
Display internal function F37 (spatter adjustment P2P) and perform the welding process with this display.
5
Increase or decrease the value of internal function F37 and perform the welding process again.
6
Repeat this step within the adjustable range −100 to 100 until the desired result is achieved.

Description
F38: Switching on advanced welding circuit resistance measurement
The arc voltage can be determined via the corresponding welding power source terminal.
Use the optional arc voltage test line with a line length ≥ 30 m. Switch the direct arc voltage detection
terminal to the component-side welding power source terminal or the wire feeder terminal. Extending the
welding power supply line without a component-side test line connection can dramatically increase
the amount of spatter generated. In this case, use of the optional arc voltage test line can drastically limit the
amount of spatter.
