Attaching to the Camera

Power Supply and Power Outputs
Supply power to the expansion unit through the DC IN 12V terminal or a commercially available V-mount
battery. Power input is supplied to the expansion unit and the camera, and can also be output to external
devices through the DC OUT 12V 2A terminal or D-TAP terminal.

Acceptable Batteries
A commercially available V-mount battery (DC 12V to 20V) can be used. Use power supply equipment that
conforms to all the safety standards of the country/region where it is used For battery attachment/removal,
see the description of EU-V2 Expansion Unit 2 (0 34). Also, closely follow the manufacturer's instructions
regarding battery handling.

Power Outputs
Power can be supplied to other devices through the expansion unit's DC OUT 12V 2A terminal and D-TAP
terminal.

• Be sure to use the camera's power outputs within the specifications given.
• When supplying power to external accessories, be careful of the polarity of the power
connections. Connecting the power supply incorrectly can cause malfunctions.
