The structure should rest against untouched dense ground. During operation the maximum load should not exceed 2.5 kgf/cm2. If the substrate of the foundation is not sufficiently rigid the foundation
block should rest on piles.
If the electric power generator unit is installed separately from the concrete foundation the reliability of the structure should be checked by a professional specialist.
The foundation block should be cast as a single operation. To avoid vibration transfer the foundation should not touch any load-carrying elements of the building.
For this purpose place a layer of polystyrene foam, cork or similar material with a thickness of 5 – 10 cm.
Due to aesthetic and hygienic reasons the foundation to be constructed should be about 10 cm higher than the floor and be coated with ceramic tiles.
The electric power generator unit is installed on the foundation only after the foundation becomes sufficiently strong. After the unit occupies the required position the anchor bolts are installed in place.
The position of the electric power generator unit is checked in the vertical plane and the anchor bolts
are tightened in this position, these bolts being located in special holes of the foundation.
Then the holes with the anchor bolts therein are poured with concrete taking care to prevent the forma-
tion of air bubbles.
Until full setting of the concrete the electric power generator unit should stay stable.

For safety reasons it is recommended to install an additional fan when the ambient temperature is high,
the output of the fan being as shown in the Table below. The additional fan should be located in the
upper part of the premise near the electric power generator unit cooler.
