1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Dieser kompakte Deckenlautsprecher dient zur Be -
schallung mit Sprache und Hintergrundmusik. Er ist für
den Einbau in Decken mit einer Stärke von 2 – 14 mm
geeignet und speziell für den Einsatz in ELA-Anlagen
konzipiert, die mit 100-V-Technik arbeiten. Die Schnell-
montagevorrichtung ermöglicht einen sehr einfachen
Einbau.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
Der Lautsprecher entspricht allen erforderlichen Richt-
linien der EU und deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.

Der Lautsprecher ist nur zur Verwendung im Innen-
bereich geeignet. Schützen Sie ihn vor Tropf- und
Spritzwasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zu -
lässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).

Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes
oder leicht angefeuchtetes, weiches Tuch, auf kei-
nen Fall scharfe Reinigungsmittel oder Chemikalien.

gerecht montiert, falsch angeschlossen oder über-

1 Applications
This compact ceiling speaker serves for PA applications
with speech and background music. It is suitable for the
installation into ceilings with a thickness of 2 to 14 mm
and especially designed for use in PA systems operat-
ing with 100 V technique. The quick mounting facility
allows a very easy installation.
2 Important Notes
The speaker corresponds to all required directives of
the EU and is therefore marked with

The speaker is only suitable for indoor applications.
Protect it against dripping water and splash water,
high air humidity, and heat (admissible ambient tem-
perature range 0 – 40 °C).

For cleaning only use a soft cloth, dry or slightly
damp, never use aggressive detergents or chemi-
cals.

No guarantee claims for the speaker and no liability
for any resulting personal damage or material

Betrieb genommen werden, übergeben Sie
ihn zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem
örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
3 Installation
WARNUNG Im Betrieb liegt berührungsgefährliche
Isolieren Sie unbedingt den nicht benutzten Draht der
Lautsprecheranschlüsse.
Achten Sie auf die Belastung des ELA-Verstärkers
durch die Lautsprecher. Eine Überlastung kann den
Verstärker beschädigen! Die Summe der Leistungen
aller angeschlossenen Lautsprecher darf die Verstär-
kerleistung nicht überschreiten.
1) In die Decke ein Loch mit einem Durchmesser von
92 mm sägen.
2) Vor dem elektrischen Anschluss des Lautsprechers
die ELA-Anlage komplett ausschalten, damit die

mounted in an expert way, not correctly connected,
or if it is overloaded.

definitively, take it to a local recycling plant for
a disposal which is not harmful to the envi-
ronment.
3 Installation

Pay attention to the load of the PA amplifier by the
speakers. An overload may damage the PA amplifier!
The total power of all speakers connected must not
exceed the amplifier power.
1) Saw a hole with a diameter of 92 mm into the ceiling.
2) Prior to the electrical connecting of the speaker,
switch off the PA system completely so that the
100 V audio cable from the PA amplifier will not
carry any voltage!

3) Den Lautsprecher so an die 100-V-Audioleitung
vom ELA-Verstärker anschließen, dass die ge -
wünschte Nennleistung (Lautstärke) erreicht wird:
schwarzer und weißer Draht = 3 W Sinus
schwarzer und roter Draht =
4) Beim Anschluss von mehreren Lautsprechern
darauf achten, dass die Lautsprecher alle gleich
gepolt werden (z. B. schwarzer Draht = Minusan-
schluss) und dass der ELA-Verstärker nicht über-
lastet wird.
5) Die Montagefedern nach oben klappen und den
Lautsprecher in den Deckenausschnitt hineindrü-
cken. Die Federn werden dabei gespannt und zie-
hen den Lautsprecher das letzte Stück in den Aus-
schnitt hinein, bis er bündig anliegt.

3) Connect the speaker to the 100 V audio cable from
the PA amplifier so that the desired power rating
(volume) is reached:
black and white wires = 3 W

black and red wires = 6 W

4) When connecting several speakers, make sure
that all speakers have the same polarity (e. g. black
wire = negative connection) and that the PA ampli-
fier is not overloaded.
5) Fold the mounting springs upwards and push the
speaker into the ceiling cutout. The springs are
bent and, for the last part, they will pull the speaker
into the cutout until it has a flush fit.
