After Completion of the Application

Risk of burns due to hot surface!
The active electrode of the smartPen can be very hot after the application!
• Do not touch hot surfaces!
•
Deactivate electrosurgery unit.
•
Unplug the connector from the monopolar socket of the electrosurgery unit.
– Do not pull on the cable when loosening the plug connection. Pulling on the cable may damage the
extremely thin and fine wires and the passivation layers that protect them, and can thus lead to
premature malfunction.
•
Disconnect the active electrode from the smartPen.
