10.10 Replacing the ball screw
drive (BS)
If the Compact Module is installed
vertically or on a slant, take precautions
to prevent the carriage from dropping!
Switch off the power supply!
The BS must only be replaced com-
plete with the nut. If the nut is removed,
balls will fall out, and the nut would
then damage the BS when remounted!

• Remove the motor and coupling.

• Remove the motor mount.
• Remove the motor with side drive
timing belt. ! 7.6
• Remove the cover. ! 10.4
• Remove the floating bearings.
! 10.9
• Remove the fixed bearing:
– CKK 12-90, CKK 15-110,
CKK 20-145 ! 10.7
– CKK 25-200 ! 10.8
For long screws (1500 mm or
longer), hold or suspend the screw at
several points.
Avoid any major bending!
Risk of permanent deformation!
Clamp the carriage in the vise
only as shown (1). Use protective jaws.
Do not damage by clamping with ex-
cessive force.
F The ring nut is secured with Loctite
638 adhesive.
• Use a hot air blower to heat the ring
nut only until the Loctite 638 adhesive
becomes liquid and the ring nut can
be removed.
• Use a pin wrench (2) to loosen and
remove the ring nut.
• Set up V-blocks for the screw, leaving
enough space between them for the
nut.
• Carefully pull the screw with nut out
of the carriage and lay it down on the
V-blocks (3).
Do not rest the BS on the nut!

10.10 Remplacement de la VAB
Prévenir la chute du plateau pour
les montages verticaux ou inclinés de
modules compacts !
Couper l'alimentation électrique !
La VAB doit impérativement être
remplacée en entier avec son écrou ! Si
des billes sont perdues lors de la dépose
de l'écrou, cela entraîne une destruction
de la VAB lors du remontage de cet
écrou !
F Outillage spécial ! 10.3
• Démonter le moteur et l'accouplement.

• Démonter la lanterne.
• Démonter le moteur avec renvoi par
poulies et courroie. ! 7.6
• Démontage du cache de protection.
! 10.4
• Remplacement du palier libre. ! 10.9
• Remplacement du palier fixe sur les :
– CKK 12-90, CKK 15-110,
CKK 20-145 ! 10.7
– CKK 25-200 ! 10.8
Pour les vis longues (à partir de
1 500 mm), les saisir en plusieurs en-
droits ou les supporter en plusieurs
points.
Eviter toute flexion exagérée pouvant
provoquer une déformation permanent !
Le plateau ne doit être serré dans
l'étau que de la manière illustrée (1), en
utilisant des mors de protection ! Ne pas
serrer trop fort pour ne pas l'endomma-
ger !
F La bague filetée est bloquée avec de
la colle Loctite 638.
• Chauffer la bague filetée avec de l'air
chaud jusqu'à ce que le Loctite 638 se
soit liquiéfié et qu'il soit possible de
desserer la bague filetée.
• Desserer la bague filetée avec une clé
à ergot (2) et la dévisser.
• Préparer un support en forme de V pour
la vis, avec une place suffisante pour
l'écrou.
• Retirer prudemment la vis et l'écrou du
plateau et déposer l'ensemble (3).
Ne pas faire reposer la VAB sur
l'écrou !

10.10 Sostituire la vite a sfere
Pericolo in caso di montaggio verti-
cale dei Linearmoduli Compact. Evitare
la caduta della tavola con gli accessori!
Staccare la corrente!
La vite a sfere può essere sostituita
solo con la chiocciola. L'asporto della
chicciola comporta la perdita di sfere e il
danneggiamento della vite a sfere quan-
do si rimonta questa chiocciola.

• Smontare il motore con il giunto. ! 7.4
• Smontare la flangia.
• Smontare il motore con trasmissione a
cinghia e puleggia. ! 7.6
• Smontare la copertura. ! 10.4
• Smontare il cuscinetto di vincolo
radiale. ! 10.9
• Smontare il cuscinetto di vincolo
assiale:
– CKK 12-90, CKK 15-110,
CKK 20-145 ! 10.7
– CKK 25-200 ! 10.8
In caso di viti molto lunghe (a par-
tire da 1500 mm) reggere le viti in più
punti mediante appositi sostegni.
Evitare flessioni!
Pericolo di deformazioni permanenti!
Serrare la tavola nella morsa solo
come illustrato (1). Utilizzare ganasce di
protezione! Non danneggiare. Evitare di
serrare eccessivamente!
F La ghiera filettata è fissata con colla
Loctite 638.
• Riscaldare la ghiera filettata con insuf-
flaggio di aria sufficientemente calda
fino a quando l'adesivo si rammollisce
affinché si possa svitare la vite.
• Allentare e svitare la ghiera filettata
con chiave a perni laterali (2).
• Preparare supporti a V per la vite con
spazio sufficiente per la chiocciola.
• Estrarre con cautela la vite e relativa
chiocciola dalla tavola ed appoggiarla
sui supporti (3).
Non appoggiare la vite a sfere
sulla chiocciola!
