8 Intended Use
This product is intended to provide help for toilet tasks
avoiding users to walk long distances to the toilet room. In
its toilet frame configuration it helps the user to sit down on
a standard toilet and getting up from it.
Users are any adults and adolescents with restricted or
limited mobility (e.g.: legs and/or hips) or limited muscle
strength. If used without an assistant, the users must be able
to keep their own balance.
Indication
Restricted or limited mobility (e.g.: legs and/or hips) or
having balance issues to stand up or walk due to transitional
or permanent disabilities.
There are no contraindications known when using the
product as intended.
The maximum user weight is 113 kg.

9 Product Description

Invacare® Izzo H340 is a toilet frame acting like either a toilet
chair or a toilet seat raiser. It is composed of four height
adjustable feet, two fold-away armrests, a toilet pan and
a lid that can be removed.
10 Setup and Usage
Installing the Toilet Pan (Fig. 2)
1. Install the toilet pan A onto the toilet pan holder B
in the toilet seat frame C.
2. Turn the toilet pan so that the tabs D keep the toilet
pan on the toilet pan holder.
Installing/Removing the Toilet Seat and Lid (Fig. 3)
Allow seat/lid to reach room temperature if exposed
to cold.
1. Align the seat clamps A of the toilet seat B onto the
back frame tube C.
2. Push down on the seat until it clamps firmly into place.
3. Repeat steps 1–2 to install the lid D.
4. Reverse steps 1–3 to remove the lid and seat.
Pull up on the back corner of the lid or seat when
removing.
Installing the Back Tube (Fig. 4)
1. Press in and hold both snap buttons A on the back tube
B.
2. While holding the snap buttons, insert both back tube
endings into the frame tube supporters C.
3. Push in both back tube ends until the snap buttons are
fully engaged into both holes of the frame tube. There
will be an audible click.
Adjusting the Leg Height (Fig. 5)
1. Press the snap button A.
2. Slide the extension up or down until the required height
is achieved.
3. Allow the snap button A to click into the next hole.
Make sure that the button is fully engaged with an
audible "click".

WARNING!
Risk of Falling
– All four legs must be adjusted to the same
height.
– Ensure that the pins are correctly engaged after
adjustment.
Operating the Drop-Down Armrests (Fig. 6)
1. Press and hold down the button A on the armrest B.
2. While holding the button, move the armrest all the way
up or down.
3. Release the button and make sure the armrests are
locked in position.
11 Maintenance
11.1 General Maintenance Information
This product is maintenance-free, provided that the cleaning
and disinfection instructions are adhered to.
11.2 Cleaning and Disinfection
General Safety Information
CAUTION!

– Take precautions for yourself and use
appropriate protective equipment.
IMPORTANT!
Wrong fluids or methods can harm or damage
the product.
– All cleaning agents and disinfectants used must
be effective, compatible with one another and
must protect the materials they are used to
clean.
– Never use corrosive fluids (alkalines, acid etc.)
or abrasive cleaning agents. We recommend
an ordinary household cleaning agent such as
dishwashing liquid, if not specified otherwise in
the cleaning instructions.
– Never use a solvent (cellulose thinner, acetone
etc.) that changes the structure of the plastic
or dissolves the attached labels.
– Always make sure that the product is completely
dried before taking it into use again.
Cleaning Intervals
IMPORTANT!
Regular cleaning and disinfection enhances
smooth operation, increases the service life and
prevents contamination.
Clean and disinfect the product
– regularly while it is in use,
– before and after any service procedure,
– when it has been in contact with any body
fluids,
– before using it for a new user.
Cleaning Instructions
IMPORTANT!
– Clean by hand
– Maximum cleaning temperature 60 °C
1. Clean the product by wiping down all generally accessible
surfaces.
2. Dry the parts with a cloth.
