5.4. Fault: Electric pipe cutter, cordless electric pipe cutter does not start.
Cause:
Mains lead defective (REMS Nano).
Power tool defective.
Worn carbon brushes.
Batter at or defective (REMS Akku-Nano).
Feeding pressure too high.
5.5. Fault: Cutting wheel becomes blunt or breaks out after 1 or 2 cuts.
Cause:
Cutting in a cutting notch in which the previous cutting wheel alread
became blunt or was damaged.
Unsuitable cutting wheel.
Pipe material is unsuitable for cutting.
5.6. Fault: Cutting of the pipes leaves marks on the outside of the pipes.
Cause:
Rollers of the pipe rest (6) soiled.
Rollers of the pipe rest (6) damaged.
6. Disposal
REMS Nano, REMS Akku-Nano, rapid charger and batteries ma not be thrown
in the household waste when the are nished with. The must be disposed of
according to the legal regulations.

7. Manufacturer's Warranty

The warrant period shall be 12 months from deliver of the new product to the
rst user. The date of deliver shall be documented b the submission of the
original purchase documents, which must include the date of purchase and the
designation of he product. All functional defects occurring within the warrant
period, which are clearl the consequence of defects in production or materials,
will be remedied free of charge. The remed of defects shall not extend or
renew the warrant period for the product. Damage attributable to natural wear
and tear, incorrect treatment or misuse, failure to observe the operational
instructions, unsuitable operating materials, excessive demand, use for unau-
thorized purposes, interventions b the customer or a third part or other
reasons, for which REMS is not responsible, shall be excluded from the warrant
Services under the warrant ma onl be provided b customer service stations
authorized for this purpose b REMS. Complaints will onl be accepted if the
product is returned to a customer service station authorized b REMS without
prior interference in an unassembled condition. Replaced products and parts
shall become the propert of REMS.
The user shall be responsible for the cost of shipping and returning the product.
The legal rights of the user, in particular the right to make claims against the
seller under the warrant terms, shall not be affected. This manufacturer s
warrant onl applies for new products which are purchased in the European
Union, in Norwa or in Switzerland.
This warrant is subject to German law with the exclusion of the United Nations
Convention on Contracts for the International Sales of Goods (CISG).

Have he mains lead changed b quali ed personnel or an authorised REMS
customer service workshop.
Have he power tool checked/repaired b an authorised REMS customer
service workshop.
Have he motor changed b an authorised REMS customer service workshop.
Charge the batter with the Li-Ion/Ni-Cd rapid charger or change the batter .
Reduce feeding pressure.
Place the cutting wheel next to the notch with the remaining fragments.
Select and change cutting wheel according to the pipe to be cut.
Onl use approved pipes, see 1.3.
Clean rollers with machine cleaner REMS CleanM (Art. No. 140119), then
protect against rust.
Change rollers.
